The size of your dreams determines the size of your life. If you keep yourself in a small box, you'll only go as far as that box allows.
One of the most significant challenges I've faced and still struggle with in life is imposter syndrome—the feeling that I don't deserve the success I've achieved or that I don't belong in certain spaces. This self-doubt often puts me in a small box, limiting what I think I'm capable of doing. But as they say, 'Dream big.' And they say it for a reason: if you don't think BIG thoughts, you won't take BIG actions. If you keep your thoughts small, you'll stay stuck in a small box. So, let's remember, the bigger the dream, the bigger the action.
I've come to realize that the only thing standing between me and my goals is myself. Gaga put it best when she said, 'My biggest enemy is me, pop a 911.' It's so true because many of our limitations come from within. If we don't allow ourselves to dream bigger, we can't expect our lives to grow in a significant way.
It's easy to stay in a comfort zone where everything feels familiar and safe, but that's where dreams go to die. The moment you challenge yourself to think bigger is the moment you step outside of that box and start taking the actions that will lead you to greater success. I've found that the key is to not let fear of failure stop you from trying. Fear is often the barrier that holds us back from our dreams. But the truth is, you've already failed if you don't try at all.
So, tear down the walls of your small box. Dream bigger, think bigger, and take the actions that will allow you to live the life you've always imagined.
